| The Toronto
Irish pubs scene is impressive. A number of great Irish pubs are
located in the downtown Toronto area. The Toronto-area Irish pubs
listed in this directory are those that are worth visiting. This
statement is made on the basis that the Irish pubs listed below
actually have websites! There are obviously more Irish pubs in Toronto
but they have So, drop into one of these Irish bars and eateries,
drink a pint, take in the traditions, listen to Irish music, and have
a great time with Irish hospitality!

Irish Pubs Directory
Fionn
MacCool - Fionn MacCool's is situated in downtown Toronto (near the
Air Canada Centre, the Hummingbird Centre, Habourfront, Hockey Hall of
Fame and Union Station). This Toronto Irish pub prides itself on
serving fresh traditional Irish food, including authentic recipes. The
Irish pub was apparently constructed in Ireland, taken down, and then
rebuilt in Toronto.
Dora
Keogh - An Irish pub that features an authetic Irish atmosphere.
It opened in September of 1997 and has been called Toronto's most authentic country pub.
The pub features a massive wood burning fireplace and a kitchen that
serves home cooked meals for groups of eight to fourteen.
The
Irish Embassy - This Irish pub is located in Toronto's Financial
District (not far from the Entertainment District). The Irish Embassy Pub and Grill is
known for its homemade food, large selection of draft beers, and cocktails.
It is located in an old bank building built in 1873 and it considered
an upscale Toronto Irish Pub. The pub frequently hosts business lunches and
parties is popular with after-work crowd and pre-gamers.
PJ
O'Brien - PJ OBrien is the sister pub to the Irish Embassy Pub and
Grill. Offers food and Irish hospitality. Also has entertainment.
It's quite bizarre that many of the Irish pubs in Toronto don't have a
website. Perhaps they don't count on
tourists! In any case, this Toronto Irish pubs directory is here for
everyone to find their way to a local Irish watering hole.
