Lora Vang: When I
was young, I was wild child!! My family loved ta take "kodak moment" photos cause we weren't able to afford a video cam. I
loved to cheese in front of the camera!! I still do!!
Were you active as a kid?
I was a very active little girl, so much I believe I was a little tom boy! I did girly things, well like playing with
Barbie's and hoping that one day I'll be all tall and blonde!!
ahhaah!! My
Barbie's were construction workers and scientists!! I don't know what I was
thinking!!
Did the boys love/hate/tease
you in high school?
ahahha boy's were boy's!! I got teased about my peewny body, and my dark skin!! Even by girls! My height was always an issue, I
was either too tall to hang out with the girls and too short to be cool
with the guys! I was a freakin loner! But I had alot of friends!
 How did you get into modeling?
Well, I always wanted to become a model till I stopped growing! It
is something that I had always dreamed of doing. I didn't make a
move till I met my boyfriend. He is insists that I should
figure out how to become one! I did some research and I already
had a couple of friends who were already models, so all I had to
do was just ask for pointers. I scheduled a shoot with a
photographer one day, and BAM! Here I am. My very first
photographer(Jeff Spain) is one of the best photographers that I
have ever worked with! He was very helpful!
What's your greatest talent?
My greatest talent would be SMILING! hahaha!
What do you do when you aren't modeling (day job...)?
I work retail part-time. When I'm not at work I'm relaxin at home spending time with the family
and people I love! On my spare time I surf the net and come up with new
ideas for my fans on my website! Not to mention I gather up tons of stuff
for my monthly updates!!;)
How do you think the Asian community, other models, and so on perceive you?
Other models who looks close to "Barbie" inspires me to live my dream. If not my dream then something close to it is still AWESOME!
All models who's had success in modeling are an inspiration to me, it shows
me that I can try and achieve rather then give up. I don't have a role
model, but my favorite model would be Hsu Chi.
 Favorite place on the planet?
On the planet? HOME!! Of course!

Do you watch what you eat! NOOO!! 96% of life is all about EATING!
What do you want the world to know about you?
That I EAT ALOT!!
What's the greatest risk you have ever taken?
To submit my photos to
agencies, etc.

Where are you
from?
I am from Des Moines, Iowa, that reminds me,
this is also one of the most ever asked questions!! If you want to know
what my culture is, you're asking the wrong questions guys!! My culture
"HMONG" came from the mountains of Asia, I mean all over Asia.
Hmong's are now mostly scattered out in the Southeast Asia mountains. But
this doesn't mean that Hmong people are Laotion or Thai's, we have a name
for our ethnicity even though we don't have a country. As of right now I live in the good ol Mid West!! Wisconsin!
