1. Her real name is: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta
2. She was given the name “Gaga” by her producer Rob Fusari when she was 19 years old. It’s based on the Queen song Radio Ga-Ga.
3. The 70s and Studio 54 are among her musical inspirations.
4. She went to the same school as Paris Hilton but they didn’t know each other back then. Paris was a bit ahead of her.
5. Paris Hilton has publically stated that she loves Lady Gaga’s music.
6. She wore a dress made from red post-it notes in an episode of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross (a British talk show)
7. As a teen she sang in clubs.
8. She has written songs for the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, and Fergie.
9. Her appearance on season 8 of American Idol in 2009 helped catapult her career in America.
10. While in Russia, she went to St. Basil’s Cathedral, in Moscow where she was almost arrested for wearing a hot leather skirt/outfit that was inappropriate for the setting.
